Cinco De Mayo – DSC

Cinco de Mayo, Spanish for the 5th of May, marks the date when the Mexican army defeated the French army in the Battle of Puebla in 1862.

It’s become big annual celebration across the Atlantic in Mexico and the US, and this year it’s coming to Discount Suit Company.

Featuring Quiquiriqui Mezcal, our Guest Cocktail for May is Señor Juan. With Mezcal firmly at its base, it plays on Mexican influence with hibiscus & lime also starring. An herbaceous edge is supplied with a little sage to round him off.

Quiquiriqui’s Mezcals are all Single Estate handcrafted spirits produced in Mexico. They partner directly with families who have been producing traditional Mezcal in their communities for generations so we’re more than happy to show them our support.

On the decks there will be Latin Boogaloo specialist, Eli Silverman, keeping the spirits high with Latin flavours alongside Mexican bites.. and plenty of Mezcal shots.

The fiesta starts at 6pm, right through till 1am. Donald Trump need not attend.
