Midleton Very Rare 2016 is a collectable Irish whiskey. Very Rare is a legendary annual release from Ireland’s most revered distillery. Since 1984, Midleton’s master distillers have carefully selected exclusive whiskeys from their inventory to craft this exceptional series.
Each year, the Master Distiller creates a unique bottling using handpicked Irish whiskey from the distillery’s warehouses. The 2016 edition was specially chosen by Master Distiller Brian Nation. Aged between 12 and 20 years, this whiskey matures exclusively in Bourbon casks.
Every bottle is individually numbered and bears the Master Distiller’s signature. Originally crafted by Jameson’s Master Distiller Barry Crockett, this prestigious blend has been released in limited quantities each year since 1984.
