In 2018 two East London giants (Sager & Wilde and East London Liquor Co.) teamed up to create El Destildo. Their aim is to showcase the exceptional liquids that are made by hand in Oaxaca region of Mexico. They have sorted some eleven different mezcals and one Mexican rum. This El Distilado Tepextate is a Mexican spirit distilled by mezcalero Sergio Partricio Juarez using the rare tepextate agave variety! Rather exciting stuff for agave aficionados out there.
