Tyrconnell Single Malt

Tyrconnell was created by the Watt distillery. The Tyrconnell was their flagship brand, and was named after a racehorse owned by Andrew Alexander Watt. The horse was a chestnut colt that won at 100 to 1 odds in 1876 in the Irish horse race called The National Produce Stakes.

Recreated by John Teeling at the Cooley Distillery. This is an exceptional Irish Single Malt.

Used a lot at The Sun Tavern, as its the main ingredients in one of the most popular cocktails Two Irish Men containing Tyrconnel, Americano Vermouth, Benedictine and Peychauds Bitters
