The late 19th early 20th century was know as the “Golden Age” of French aperitif wines known as Quinquina or Kina’s. Kina’s we originally created to make quinine more palatable when given to in the malaria-plagued colonies. Tempus Fugit Kina L’Aero D’or reflects an “Alps-Provence” style. Piedmont-grown Cortese grape wine infused with cinchona bark, orange peel, wormwood and other exotic spices to give a beautiful deep golden hue with a complex, mild bitter taste and a well-balanced sweetness that prolongs the finish.
