Description
Teeling Small Batch Whiskey is the flagship expression from Dublin’s Teeling, the Small Batch Irish whiskey is made with a blend of malt and grain whiskeys, initially aged in ex-Bourbon barrels. Following that, the Teeling folks moved the whiskey over to casks that had previously held Central American rum! Said to contain a high proportion of first fill bourbon cask whiskey, and a high malt to grain ratio.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Vanilla, honey, and tropical fruit with a touch of spice
Palate: Smooth caramel, toasted oak, and hints of citrus
Finish: Long and warming with a sweet rum cask influence
Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered for full flavour
