Mad March Hare Poitín
Mad March Hare Poitín is crafted in Ireland using only malted barley, and is triple distilled in copper pot stills. Poitín, pronounced ‘put-cheen’, Irish for ‘small pot’ is Ireland’s oldest spirit, even pre-dating Irish whiskey. It was forced underground in 1661 and secretly distilled for over 300 years before it the ban was lifted in 1997, and since then the un-aged spirit is making a return to the stage.
