Killowen The Dalriadan Part 2 of 2:

Killowen The Dalriadan Part 2 of 2 is a celebration of different, but heavily related whiskey traditions and dare we say, when merged, a beautiful fusion is created, both whiskeys originate safely within the boundaries of what was once, the vibrant sea faring nation of Dalriada.

60% Double distilled Peated Malt, originating in Caol Ila Distillery, aged completely in Ex – Bourbon Hoggs head and 40% 11-year-old Malt from County Antrim, finished for three years in Oloroso Butts. This blend was also finished 10 months in both PX sherry casks and Killowen Dark Rum.

Killowen Rum & Raisin Single Malt Batch #5:

Killowen selected a handful of casks from neighbouring county Louth and aged the liquid in their own Killowen Dark Rum casks adding rich molasses and tropical fruits, whilst the rich PX cask provides abundance of raisin and dried fruits amidst the backdrop of the famous apples and pears often found in the sourced distillate.

Only 996 bottles have been created.

Two origins, one spirit. Killowen X Blackwater a DÓ Poitín.

An all-island collaboration combining Knockshee oats and Waterford heritage barley and fusing two distinctive distilling characters.

50% Malted barley, 30% old Irish barley locally soured by Blackwater in Waterford, 15% oats, Killowen grown and locally malted with 5% peated barley.
