Killowen is one of the new lads on the whiskey stage. After tasting some amazing liquid in Tasmania using open flame distillation, Brendan Carty wanted to bring back this style to Ireland. He found an old shed on a farm and asked a friend for a bit of help and now produces and sources some of the most interesting and innovative spirits in the country. Killowen Rhubarb, Heather & Hibiscus Gin uses botanicals which shine among a base of juniper, fuchsia and meadowsweet.
