A bit of maceration here, but not enough for it to fall into our skinsy category, it’s just added some nice texture and phenolic grip. This one’s still all about the fruit. And how good is that fruit. At once tropical yet rasping, this is a wine for contemplation and a long lunch. Who doesn’t love some contemplation

Nicholas Renaud is addicted to his craft, each year cultivating new parcels that he just couldn’t resist. Thanks to this, his cuvées are pretty eclectic, formed from a hodgepodge of terroir and grapes with new labels and names every time. Hard to keep up with, but worth it. His focus on unique bedrock, soils and forgotten vines mean his production is guaranteed to stay new, exciting, and delicious.
