Valdespino ‘El Candado’ Pedro Ximenez

£21.00

Valdespino is one of the oldest sherry houses in Jerez, dating back six centuries. In 1264 Alfonso Valdespino was one of the twenty four knights that fought for the city of Jerez. It doesn’t get more sherry than that! El Candado means “the padlock”, and every bottle comes with a little padlock and keys! This classic Pedro Ximenez slaps you with a handful of raisins and dates at first then kisses you with a mouthful of toffee, Christmas cake and light notes of honey and coffee.  Drink on it’s own after dinner or alongside a coffee, ice cream or even a naughty stilton.
