A sweet Italian vermouth named after Jerry Thomas, the legendary 19th century bartender who is considered by many as the father of American mixology and known to some as ‘The Professor’ (hence this vermouth’s name). Vermouth del Professore is a collaborative effort between Frederico Ricatto, Carlos Quaglia and the Jerry Thomas Speakeasy in Rome.
Vermouth Rosso Del Professore Classico is a red vermouth produced in Lazio, a region in central Italy. This is the only vermouth on the market which is made solely from wines and ingredients produced in house. Quaglia insists that this ensures the intensity and authenticity of the aromas within the vermouth as they oversee the whole process from grape and herbs to the finished product.
