Curatolo Arini Marsala Fine

£15.00

Marsala wine originates from the port of Marsala in West Sicily using mainly Grillo, Inzolia, Catarratto and Domaschino grapes. The Curatolo family has been making Curatolo Arini Marsala Fine since 1875 and is the oldest producer going. Today, the founder Vito Curatolo’s grandson Roberto, and great-grandson Sergio, keep the company alive, producing arguably the best Marsala on the market. This seco, or dry, Marsala is wonderfully rounded and delicate. Expect almonds, figs and raisins at first, with a dry, oaky, vanilla finish, and just a hint of spice and tobacco. Marsala pairs with some complex foods from asparagus and brussel sprouts, to mushrooms and dark chocolate.
